Delivered At Place Unloaded

Delivered At Place Unloaded

One of the most common Incoterm agreements between businesses in Great Britain and Ireland is DPU (Delivered at Place Unloaded). It is intended for buyers that do not wish to be responsible for the unloading of the goods.

This Incoterm is the same as Delivered at Place with the addition of covering the offloading of goods. Under a DPU Incoterm the buyer is still responsible for the Import Customs Clearance. It was previously known as Delivered At Terminal (DAT). For more information on incoterms, visit the Intertrade Ireland website.

Portnetic manages the importation of unit(s) to the port in Dublin/Belfast on behalf of our clients and manages payment of the custom’s broker who facilitates the entry of the vehicle(s). Operating under Delivered at Place Unloaded (DPU) terms, the Trade Garage will consign the import documentation
